What happens on the day

This page provides a quick overview of what happens on the day of the event at Gloucester Rowing Club – Friday 12th July 2019.
Complete information for the event is available from our Documentation page. To enjoy the day to the full we recommend that you read all documents thoroughly in good time before the day.

PARKING

Free parking will be available at the Rowing Club, however please let us know if you require a disabled pass

TEAM REGISTRATION FROM 12.30

All Team Members must be Registered and the Team Disclaimer form signed from 12.30 and before anyone can enter the water

PRACTICE SESSIONS

These will take place between 14.00 – 15.30. If you need to practice we advise you to arrive by 14.00 to ensure a practice session

RACING STARTS 16.00

The relay racing starts at 14.00. Please listen to the tannoy messages for your Team Name to be called. Coracle colours match your bib colours

FANCY DRESS

This is encouraged and we will be awarding a prize for the best fancy dress. So let your imagination run wild, within reason

SAFETY

We take the safety of the event very seriously. Safety personnel and boats will be on site to deal with any emergencies. Stay safe

During the afternoon you will be able to purchase food from the BBQ and drinks from the bar. Please bring your family, friends and supporters.
